Spring initial wreath

Today I made a wreath for under $10!! I purchased 3 bundles of flowers on sale for one dollar at Michaels, the J for $1 and the wreath for $5.99. I had the burlap and Paint at home so i guess it would have been a few more dollars when you put all of that together but all in all, a cheap, fun and super easy project! I had planned on it for spring but decided it's perfect for summer as well.

Cotton Candy Grapes!

Ok! Cotton candy grapes- my life is over! These are as amazing as they sound!

They are actually infused with flavoring during the growing process. I had to share these because even though it's not a hair style, a craft or new tasty meal, these grapes are a delicious, sweet and healthy little snack that is perfect for anytime of the day! I got them at Sprouts today and I'm going back for more ASAP!

Canvas art

I had a canvas lying around the house, some craft paint and glitter. Decided I wanted to paint, so I started with my background, found a cute quote that meant something to our family and made some art! The only thing I didn't have was a paint pen so I spent $4 on a gold paint pen. That was the only thing I had to buy that I didn't have so it was an easy, fun & cheap craft!

Chicken, rice and black bean casserole

I have been really into creating my own casseroles lately. A casserole makes it so easy because you can keep it warm in the oven and it will taste delicious and not get dry.

This is the first one I made up. I started with chicken, cut it up and sautéed it over the stove top. And then I chose a Rice-A-Roni flavor, cream of chicken & mixed it together in a casserole dish. Topped it with tortilla chips, shredded cheese and baked at 350° For 15 minutes.

It turned out amazing and my whole family loved it!

You will need:
-3 to 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
-One box of black bean or Mexican style Rice-A-Roni
-1cup crushed tortilla chips or strips
-one cup of shredded cheese

Cooking instructions:
Cook chicken in a skillet with taco seasoning. Add cream of chicken after the chicken is cooked. Next, in a separate pan, cook Rice-A-Roni as instructed on box. One done, put everything in a casserole dish, top with crushed tortilla chips and shredded cheese and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
You can add corn or more black beans to this dish too.

Great place for stuffed animals

This is a great idea to get those stuffed animals you or your child can't part with up and off of the floor! I love it because it got a bunch of clutter out of the way but still looks pretty hanging from the ceiling.

What you'll need:

6-7 feet of Chain-link from Home Depot or Lowe's. (I used the white because I thought it looked nicer than the silver)

Next I ordered hooks off of Amazon but I'm sure you can get those at Home Depot too.

Butterfly hooks & screws to go into the ceiling. I would recommend using two or three or weight control.

I'm not sure how much weight this can hold but I wouldn't overfill it with too many stuffed animals. There is around 30 on ours but a lot of them are small.

Cute and creative way to be asked to be a bridesmaid

I received this precious little box in the mail. I opened it up to find sand and a small shell wrapped with beautiful bow. I pulled the scroll out. It read, "I couldn't say "I do" without you, Kendyl. Will you be my maid of honor?"
 love Amanda.

It was the the best and most creative way I was ever asked to be in a wedding and I'm so honored to be a part of my sisters very special day! They're getting married in October 2014 in Cancun and we are counting down the days! I'm so lucky and blessed to be such a big part of this and I'm so happy for Amanda & Kevin!

I wish I would've done something like this for my bridesmaids! Its so original and makes the wedding party feel so special. I know I do! :)
