Family pictures 2013

Here were 2 pics sent to us from our family photo session with AshleyandLana Photography. They were amazing and so great with our girls! They made it look so easy when I can't even get my 3 (almost 4) year old to look at the camera! 

All I can say is "wow, I am blessed"! I love my family!

DIY gel polish

I got creative and painted my own nails today. I love this purple/grey color, it's SO perfect for fall. I wanted to do something different and funky so I added some glitter polish to my ring fingers and a fun chevron design to the middle fingers

on each hand. It's fun to spice it up and do something out of the box bc most of the time I'm pretty boring. 

Naturally, I'm a huge fan of OPI and Essie but I have to say that china glaze is pretty fabulous and the cost is a little bit better. This color is called "Below Deck". It looks more brown in the picture, but really it's a perfect mix of purple and grey. I topped it off with 2 coats of gel polish and cured it under the uv light for 3 minutes each coat. You can grab the light and gel topcoat at Sally's. It makes your polish last for a week or two if you do it right. 

Pumpkin Patch

A couple weekends ago we went to the Dewy, AZ pumpkin patch. It was a lot of fun and Kynlie really enjoyed all of the carni rides and finding her very own pumpkin! There was even a little petting zoo and we got to feed the baby goats! Paisley liked to people watch and dance to the music! We really need to make this a yearly tradition since it's only about an hour away from home :)

For Mandy's wedding

This is the most simple and elegant idea for a bridal bouquet. I have never seen anything like this and I'm in love with this idea! It's just perfect for a beach wedding too! I had to post this because it's so beautiful and unique. I LOVE it!!! 

Finding the right mascara

Having my beauty license I've explored many brands of mascara but I happen to find one that is amazing! It's called PURminerals, big blink. You can find it at Sephora or Ulta and it is around $20. It has argon oil, elongates the lashes and has zero clumping. It beats any Mac mascara I've used and one of the most popular mascara brands out there, Urban Decay's, big fatty. Pick one up and try it out!
